During a serendipitous stop at our local comic book store, I rediscovered some familiar childhood characters and was introduced to some new fun comic characters.

The Adventures of Tintin series is fun to read and very well drawn. The stories are engaging and I especially enjoy the frame-to-frame sequences.

Asterix is another familiar character from my childhood dry transfer decal collection. The style is quite different from Tintin, but I like the pastel-look.

Lucky Luke is a new character for me. I love how funny this series is and am especially enamored by Rin Tin Can, the dog, and Jolly Jumper, the horse.

I look forward to reading more books in these three series. I see a collection building up here!
